What we collect

If you use Talent Hub as a client, we store the contact, company, shortlist and introduction information needed to run your account. Talent Hub and MCP access are free and do not require card details.

If you apply for a role or send us your CV, we may collect:

  • your name, contact details and sign-in identity;
  • your CV, work history, skills and candidate profile;
  • application answers, preferences, messages and progress;
  • referee details you choose to add and your permission to contact them; and
  • the privacy and email choices you make, with their dates.

How candidate information is used

Amped uses candidate information to assess an application, create a private candidate workspace, communicate the outcome and, only when you have chosen it, consider or contact you about suitable future roles. Applying does not subscribe you to automatic role alerts, which are not currently active.

We may automatically extract information from a CV to prepare a draft profile and support matching. You can review and correct that profile. A person at Amped remains responsible for recruitment decisions; extracted text is not treated as unquestionable fact.

Who sees candidate information

Candidate identity and contact details are stored separately with restricted access. Members see only an Amped-approved anonymised profile. Amped shares identity or application information with an employer only as part of a real recruitment process and with the candidate's knowledge. Referee contact details and confidential responses are not shown to members or other candidates.

Amped and the service providers used to host the Hub, store files, deliver email and process recruitment work may handle information in different countries. They receive only the access needed to provide that service. We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

AI assistant connections

You can connect your Talent Hub account to an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT. The assistant acts on your account only with your permission, given through our sign-in and consent screen, and you can see and revoke every connection under Account → Security. Revoking stops further access immediately.

Through a connection we receive the requests the assistant makes for you (search filters, candidate reference codes, shortlist changes, introduction and shortlist requests, and messages you ask it to send) and return the same information you would see signed in: anonymised candidate profiles, your shortlist, your requests, proposals and conversations. We record which connection made each request and when, so you can review activity and we can keep the service secure. We do not receive your conversation history or anything you did not send to Talent Hub through the assistant, and we share nothing from your account with the assistant provider beyond the response to each request. The assistant provider handles the conversation itself under its own privacy policy. Connection records are kept with your account records and removed when your account is deleted.

Email choices

Application receipts, interview details and status updates are transactional. Future-role recruiter outreach is a separate, optional choice that you can withdraw in the candidate portal. Automatic role alerts are not currently active; if launched, they will require a separate opt-in and an unsubscribe path that does not affect recruiter contact or an active application.

Retention, access and deletion

We keep the records needed to run current recruitment and account processes, protect the integrity of applications and record the choices people made. You can ask what we hold, request a copy, correct it or ask us to delete it. Some limited records may need to remain where required to preserve an audit or meet an obligation.

Email josh@ampedhq.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also use Privacy & contact inside the candidate portal.
